So sorry to hear of your mom's passing. It's not easy giving up a parent; how well I know. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Richard,
So sorry about the passing of your mother. I have a lot of fond memories of our high school days, at your home and around your parents. One of my favorite memories was the Christmas break when you, Hippe and I were freshmen at SDHS and went to Centralia to watch the Red's at the holiday tournement. Your suitcase caught on fire (thanks to Moffett), we missed the train back to Decatur (thanks to Hippe), and your mother, rounded up our practice gear and met us in Pana at the Bus Station, to get us to basketball practice with about 30 seconds to spare. She was a wonderful woman who in later years, I had the privilege of getting to know even better at the golf course. Her gentle spirit, kindness and warm smile will be missed. She was a good woman.

Dave & Lynn -- My condolences to you in the passing of your mother. In reading the beautiful obituary the family prepared, it sounds like your mother had a wonderful life and lived it to its fullest. I know she will continue to live on in your hearts forever.

Rosemary was one of the delights I discovered in Decatur after marrying Craig and moving here. She was a beautiful, intelligent woman who was a dear friend! She was always interested in so many things so was a joy to talk with. She was loved by so many people here.

What excellent memories I have of the Meeks at lots of parties and golf outings in years gone by. Rosemary was always so happy and lively and I will remember her in that way. My sympathy to her family.
