He opened his own electrical contracting company and in the past 19 years worked as electrical supervisor at Barry University utilizing his electrical engineering skills to improve electrical systems at the University and make them more efficient and cost- effective. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his daughters, Cary MacNamara and Gloria Czerniec; son- in-law Timothy H. Czerniec; grand children Dr. Ernesto MacNamara, Dr. Mary Ann Kurinovich, Alex and Elena MacNamara, Gloria and Alex Trujillo; brother Eugenio del Monte; sister, Isaura Valenzuela, numerous nieces and nephews, and great-granddogs, Bella, Ninabelle, and Anabella. Armelio was one of my patients. What a wonderful and inspiring gentleman. He always came to the office with a smile, and it was a real pleasure every year when he would come in for his followup visit for his hip. God Bless to you his family. Daniel G. Kalbac, MD

Chichi was a very remarkable individual with whom I have had the pleasure to work alongside at Barry University for over 10 years. I will always remember him for his love for Barry, his passion for his work and his friendly smile. I know he is finally at Peace in the great Beyond.
