Arnold Edson Obituary
He served and retired a U.S. Marine and was a United States Military Academy veteran. He studied at New York University and earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Southern California.
He had worked for Ideal Toy Co., Amsco and owned a toy manufacturing factory in Hong Kong, which he sold in 1985. He loved to play golf and bridge, loved stamps, coins, autographs, the violin, the mandolin, photography and baking. He was a member of the board of the Wine and Food Society of New York, a member of the New York Marine Corps League and Temple Israel in New Rochelle.
He is survived by his wife, Marian; children Andi, Richard, Steven, and Jennifer; and son-in-law, Randy Cohen. He also leaves behind his grandchildren Eric and Gabe Sterne, Imogene and Henry Edson, and Danielle and Alex Cohen.
Services were held May 6, 2012, at the Friends (Quaker) Meeting House/Temple M'Vakshe Derekh, 133 Popham Rd., Scarsdale.
