My condolences to Audrey's family, whom I have never met. I met her only briefly, about 60 years ago, when she was a girl in Buffalo. My mother knew her parents, and somehow I was introduced to Audrey, who was 3 years older than I. I was shy, scared and unsure of myself, but I remember her as sweet, friendly and accepting. She made a tremendously positive impression that has stuck with me for decades. I'm sure her children already know her fine qualities, but I thought I'd share my recollection of that long-ago meeting with your mother. I learned of her passing in the Seminary magazine.

I have lost track of the Bryans and just called Audrey's number to check in and the office told me that she has passed. I am so sorry. I would love to hear from Chuck or Honeybear if at all possible. I really miss the Bryans!

HoneyBear & Burr - Your mom could only be described by a word I used to hear her say so often - "FABULOUS!" Words cannot describe what a great and devoted friend she was to my mom! You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Honeybear, Burr & Mr. Bryan,
My heart breaks for you all. I am so grateful for the fact we grew up "across the bay" on Sunset, swimming to each others homes, rowing across, sailing, and when we had to...riding our bikes! Your Mom always made the best cookies...and taught me how to properly make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches "always spread the peanut butter COMPLETELY across the bread"! LOL I still do to this day! I will miss your Mom, and her neverending smiles and twinkling eyes. But know as long as we keep her memories alive, she will always be with us.
Love-Hug-& Prayers,
Cathryn

Dearest "Honey-Bear" and "Burr",
It is with the deepest sadness that I write this to express my love for Audrey. It seems like yesterday when you were children and our lives were focused on your activities at Cushman school - and, the marvelous parties she and Chuck had on Sunset Island! What fun we had! But, your mom and I became particularly close because of All Souls'. I did not know she was ill, and am more saddened that I did not have an opportunity to say "good-bye" to my beautiful, brave, refined, and elegant friend, who also had the reputation as one of LaGorce Club's best golfers.
Love and prayers are with you.
