Vero Beach, Florida - Barbara F. Guilford, age 80, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Barbara spent much of her early life in Miami, Florida, before eventually making her home in Vero Beach.

She is survived by her devoted sister, Nancy Hansen; her two children, Wendy Goldstone (Richard) and Scott Oberlink; and her three stepsons, Mike Guilford (Cindy), Greg Guilford (Becky), and Zeke Guilford (Gina). Barbara was also blessed with ten grandchildren-Arthur, Patrick, Cameron, Lauren, Rachel, Emma, Emory, Grayson, Jackson, and Graham-and one great-grandchild, Celine Jennifer.

Barbara lived an active and engaged life. She found great happiness in tennis, golf, walking, boxing, going to the gym, attending barre classes, and traveling. Her passion for historical preservation and community service was evident in her dedicated involvement with several organizations. She served on the boards of The Villagers, Vizcaya, The Laura Riding Jackson Foundation, and the Humane Society of Miami, making a lasting impact on the causes she championed and the communities she served.

Barbara will be remembered for her warmth, resilience, and the deep love she held for her family. Her legacy will continue through the many lives she touched and the countless memories she created with friends and family.

Barbara has seen me through so many of my life´s highs and lows she always supported me and my family. The woman I would call my "second mom" because I was always with her and her family during high school days, spring break summers and even a few visits in adulthood with my own kids
Such special woman, sending condolences to Wendy and Scott and all who will miss her.

Barbara's commitment and dedication to historic preservation was a gift to the Laura (Riding) Jackson Foundation and Indian River County. Barbara was a kind and caring person. She was responsible for working with local and state government to provide the historic markers to Laura's house on the Mueller Campus of the Indian River State College. Rest in Peace, Barbara
