It is hard to believe that both, Ben and Linda have been gone so long.....;-{
Linda, Ben and I go all the way back to elementary school. Back then, I walked from NW 30th St off 12th Avenue to Jackson. I had to pass Ben's house and always wished I would see him or one of his brother's...all of them were, "HOT"!
Linda was always cute as a button, beautiful looks an a great figure. Even after having all you kids.
Both were very sweet people. I was sooo sorry that their lives were cut short. Preventing them from sharing all the fun times, the grandkids and so much more. In my heart, I know they are together looking down at each one of you as your lives challenge you, as you achieve all your goals and as you expand your families. Bless you all....;-}

Linda's creativity hangs above my fireplace in a picture of my daughters wedding. Kimmie's flowers were beautifully done by Linda and her staff. Thank you Jessica for introducing us to your beautiful mom.

Ben and Linda were loved very much by everyone they touched, are still loved, will forever be missed and never forgotten. Not a day goes by without remembering our true friends. I still struggle and continue to cry often and can hear Linda yelling at me and then giving me that laugh...I can hear her laugh and see them smiling and laughing. Michael, Jessica and Lori your mom and dad would be proud of all of you in the way you have showed love,compassion and strength since their journey to heaven. They will forever be in our hearts and mind. They are watching over you all. Lots of love being sent your way.

To the families of my friend Benny and his wife Linda,

My friendship with Benny during our years at Allapattah Elementary and at Miami Jackson is one of the few good memories that I have of that time of my life. It was only recently that I learned of his passing. I had only gotten back in touch with him a couple of years or so ago and we were exchanging e-mails. I often wondered why these e-mails stopped and now I know why. Benny told me that I knew Linda also but I'm afraid my memories of those days are far from complete. My sincere condolences to both families.

To the D’Amico and Pettit families,

It has taken me a very long time to write this, as if by not having to put my feelings into words it did not happen. Ben and Linda were loved and are fondly remembered .We went to high school together, but it was at Old Cutler that Linda and I got reacquainted. Her sparkling eyes and her smile would light up the place. Her last big hug promising she would try to get back to the choir, after vacation, will not be forgotten. Ben, thank you for using your voice to inspire us to worship.
My prayers are with the family. Michael, maybe we will hear you sing again in church soon.

We can rest assured that they are together with the God they loved so much

Our sincere condolences to the family. Linda provided the flowers for our daughter Lara's wedding and we fondly remember the joy she brought to this momentous occasion. She even preserved our second daughter Ashley's wedding bouquet. She and her husband will forever be in our thoughts and prayers.

Laurie, John, Mike, Jessica and families; Linda was my oldest girl cousin and was fondly thought of by my parents, Dorothy & Jerry. She and Ben visited out here a couple of times and we enjoyed seeing them when they were here. I am sure that they will be missed greatly and we feel for your loss. I am sure there is a lot of catching up going on in heaven with Grandma Pettit, Aunt Rose Nell, and My Mom, Dorothy...might even be some fried chicken making its way around that table. Our deepest sympathy to all, love Terry, Julie and Mike Fitzgerald

My heart goes out the the family of Ben and Linda. My fiancee, Mats Wictorin's Memorial Service was held at the same church only two days before Ben and Linda's. With flowers from Linda's shop! Nobody told me the sad news until the next day. They will be very much missed. May they rest in the peace and love of God.

Although I did not know the D'amicos, my deepest sympathy goes out to the family. I was the 2nd person to stop there that day in Iowa and never new my heart could ache so much, and still does, for somebody I never knew. I knew in my heart they must be good people and can tell by the many different entries on web sites that they were. You've been in my prayers everyday since. I'm sorry for your loss.

There are no words right now that will comfort you in this time of loss, sorrow and pain. The families have lost the most precious gift they had, Ben and Linda, mom and dad, grandmother and grandfather, sister and brother, cousins. We have lost two very good and wonderful friends, Our hearts are broken. The world has lost two very good people. Our only comfort is to know they are both Christians and are with the Lord watching over us. God must have needed two angels so he called Ben and Linda. We will miss you our friends and treasure the memories we have made. In Christ's love

What a great pair you two were, together until the very end. You embodied true love, friendship and commitment. As my longtime friends, you were always there when I needed you and it will be very hard to face the future without our talks, your input and advice. I am forcing myself to believe you are in a better place watching over the loved ones you left behind. I can assure you, you left your mark and will live forever in our hearts! Until we meet again.... All my love,
