Do you remember when u asked me to create Lebanese names for you and Pat? only a unique person would ask such a thing! I got so excited to see the outcome! yours came out to be: NABIL ELMOUROUJ MALEK SIMPSON III...AND PATRICK'S: "Karim Elsharif Malek SIMPSON". You were so happy...I wanted to see you, God needed an extra angel...I won't argue with God! I love you...see you in heaven...

I wrote a stupid page and a half about how lucky I was to have known you Earl, but I erased it all because it sounded like a dumb yearbook signature or something. It wasn't enough. All I have to say is a long time ago there was this kid who thought he knew everything, but he didn't. He was all talk. Then he met you, and learned how to live. You taught that to everyone, not just me. And anyone who is reading this, you know darn well you couldn't keep up with him either - no one could. See you around Earl - you were one of a kind. [Glove]

I keep coming to this page. I stare at it for a bit, type a couple sentences, and finally just close the window without leaving a thing. Words are such small things at times. And in those times it's difficult to try and paint an emotion or pay tribute with them.
I'm glad we found our way into each other's lives again. I missed you more than you'll know during those twenty years... and I will go on missing you now.
Wherever you are, I hope you've had a chance to streak your new neighborhood.
Love you!

You and Pat were the brothers I never had, and maybe at times I never wanted. By the way, I always hid under the bed and you could never find me!! I love you and will always cherish and remember the great times we had over the summers growing up at Grandma and Grandpa Simpsons. You and Pat MADE my childhood complete. Your humor will live on through my many memories of you. You will always be nine days older than me but sadly now you are not here to tease me about that anymore. I always think of you and Grandma when watching those corny cheese sandwich movies we loved so much as well as the three stooges. I pray you are with all of our loved ones who have passed into Heaven and that you look down on us when you feel we need you. I love you forever. Rest in Peace.

I love you Earl.
I'm sorry I couldn't make it to FL for your services, but I know your soul is not with us anymore. It's just a shell that's left. Now you're free to go wherever you want to go. God rest your soul cousin. Love your cousin Georgie.
