George Barket was my father's, Judge Robert Deehl's, long time friend. I remembering him calling our house often, and answering. He and my Dad were both born in 1925, went to the same schools. And my grandfather had a small grocery store in Miami, near the Orange Bowl. My dad was also in the Navy. But, he switched to the US Marine Corps and was in Okinawa when George was in its waters on a ship. He was one of my Dad's closest friends. And, he will be missed. My condolences to his family and friends.
