JAMES GRAU Obituary

GRAU, JAMES "BIG JIM," 85, of Cutler Bay, passed away on Thanksgiving Day, November 26 as a result of congestive heart failure. His family was at his side. Jim was born in Chester, PA, one of four children of Theresa and William Grau. He is survived by his sister, Elizabeth Gillespie and brother, Fred Grau and was pre- deceased by his brother, Nicholas. Jim is survived by his wife and soul mate of 59 years, Marge; son, Kurt Grau (Terri); daughters, Kathi Gaffney (Dennis) and Cindy Doerschuck (John); seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Jim and his family came to Miami in 1957. An electrician by trade, Jim was employed by Eastern Airlines in avionics for 30 years and retired in 1987. He was a great sports fan of our local teams, the Marlins, Hurricanes and Dolphins. Jim's passion in life was his family . . . always family first.
