Miami, Florida - Jan Katz passed away on July 25, 2021. She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey, son Adam (Michelle), daughter Stacy Wright (Andrew) and 5 grandchildren (Elizabeth, Ethan, Charlotte, Oliver & Parker). Jan was devoted to her family and beloved by her friends. She lit up any room with her vivacious personality. A teacher for nearly 35 years, Jan was loved by all of her students and colleagues. She will be greatly missed, always remembered and forever loved. Please consider a contribution in her memory supporting Frontotemporal Degeneration (FTD) at www.theaftd.org. Private services were held graveside at New B'rith Sholem Cemetery in East Amherst, NY.

I was able to view the funeral via YouTube. Stacy´s comments epitomized Jan´s love of family and her zest for life. Gone way too soon. May her memory be a blessing.
