Joshua Gordon "Bus" Bullock

1986 - 2019

BULLOCK, JOSHUA "BUS" GORDON, passed away unexpectedly three days after his 33rd birthday in a tragic motorcycle accident. Greatly loved son, brother, cousin, uncle, godson, godfather and friend, Josh was a gentle giant with a beautiful soul, an incredibly large heart and smooth dance moves, whose big smile lit up a room and never failed to cheer others. Born in Miami, to June Carol (Moffatt-Weiss) and Barry Bullock on January 8, 1986, Josh was the eldest of the three Bullock boys. Josh was especially proud of his brother Brandon's recent graduation as a Firefighter and EMT, and was his youngest brother Myles' rock and biggest supporter of his musical career. His father Barry has worked as a sales representative at Southern Glazer Wine & Spirits for 21 years. His mother Junie was a nurse for 25 years at Jackson Memorial Hospital until her untimely death in December 2010. After the loss of their beloved mother, Barry devoted himself to hold the family together. Josh attended St. Thomas Episcopal Parish School, Palmer Trinity School, Archbishop Coleman Carroll High School, and Miami Killian Sr. High School, studied at American Military University, and was an active member of St. Faith's Episcopal Church. He is survived by his father Barry, brothers Brandon and Myles, sister Denyelle, Godfather Richard Booth, Godson Jaidyn Garcia, and a host of loving relatives and friends. We are comforted that Josh now rests with God and is reunited with his beloved mother. Viewing will be held at Maspons Funeral Home, 3500 SW 8th Street, Wed. 1/16/19, 7-9 pm. Funeral, with reception, will be held at St. Thomas Episcopal Parish Church, 5692 N Kendall Drive, Thurs. 1/17/19, 5 pm.
