STACK, KEVIN CHARLES (Aug. 31, 2017) Kevin Charles Stack, 51, passed away on August 31, 2017. Kevin came into this world in Miami, Florida in the midst of Hurricane Betsy, September 8, 1965. His life was filled with love, laughter and a deep appreciation for the friends and family he loved so much. He loved to travel, spend quality time with those he held close to his heart and his kindness, spirituality and compassion was his rare gift to all of us. Throughout his younger years, Kevin's kindness, infectious laughter and understanding of others made his popularity flourish. He graduated high school in 1983 from Westminster Christian School, in Miami and then he went on to attend Florida State University where he was an active member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. He graduated in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Real Estate with a minor in Finance. Upon graduation, Kevin spent a short time in Los Angeles, CA where he met some of his dearest and lifelong friends. While looking to establish himself out west, he was offered a position in a National Presidential campaign, Clinton versus Bush, and quickly returned to Miami where he strove tirelessly for the ultimate winner. This experience opened many doors for Kevin initially in the real estate development industry where he worked for one of the largest land development companies in Miami. Ultimately he found his true passion in entrepreneurial endeavors designed to bring innovative products to market and spent most of his career in this arena. Early on, he formed Medical Care Concepts, an industry-leader in optimizing antimicrobial products for the food, medical and hospitality industries. Kevin also had a passion for real estate and completed several commercial brokerage projects during his career. Kevin always had kind words for everyone and every person he knew. He had a beautiful mind and a kind heart. He believed he could learn something from everyone he met and his light and love had no boundaries. He taught all of his loved ones how important it was to accept others and have the courage to appreciate all people. He was our teacher whose values will guide us for the rest of our lives. His family and friends will never stop missing and loving Kevin. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness and compassion. He is a deep and caring soul and will continue to shine his light on all of those he loved dearly. He is survived by his mother Barbara Alice Stack, father Charles Rickman Stack, sisters Caroline Stack Simmel (Bradford) and Constance Stack Mohrman (Kevin). He was also survived by his nephews, James Bradford Simmel and William Charles Mohrman and nieces, Mia Elizabeth Mohrman and Constance Claire Simmel. Additionally, he is survived by his best friend and confidante, Dale Christopher Hamel (Miami, FL). A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 12:00noon on Friday, October 6th at the Sawgrass Beach Club, 9795 Summer Place, Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida 32082.
