Leroy and I played football together at Miami Beach Sr. High in 74. I vividly remember lining up nose to nose against him during football practice in the defensive tackle position and getting pushed around pretty good, never quite able to get good leverage or positioning against him. He made it look so damn easy too. What left the most lasting impression is the numerous times he would reach out extending his hand to help his teammates off the ground after knocking one of us over. His smile, wit and words of encouragement left a lasting impression on his team and classmates. It's funny after the wins and losses are long forgotten you still remember those things that were even more important,Leroy had character and kindness. My heartfelt condolences to the Family and friends of Leroy. You will me missed.

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. - Psalm 121:1

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God; in him will I trust. - Psalm 91:1-2

Words can not explain the pain I feel inside but I know that Jesus will comfort me. Words can not hold back my tears from falling but I know that Jesus will wash them all away. Words can not fill the void I feel inside my heart but I know that Jesus can mend a broken heart. Words will not be able to replace my brother but I know that Jesus is with me always.

I love You brother. And may you and the others be like angels watching over us.

Bridgette, I Love and thank you for sharing some of your life with my brother. He loved you dearly and I know that you Loved him as well. You will continue to be in my prayers and keep me in yours.
