You probably don't know me, but I grew up on the beach (my maiden name is edelman) and my mom (josephine vineberg) was a long time friend of both your parents.

I knew your parents and remember very vividly their warmth and graciousness. They will always hold a very special place in my heart; both for the friendship they shared for so many years with my mom and for the anchor they represent for my personal memories of my childhood.

I can't imagine that there is anything I can say to lessen the sorrow you all are feeling right now, but I did want you to know that I am thinking of you and share my special memories of your parents with you.
