Lefty reported to me at International Graphics in the late Seventies-----he was a special guy---lots of fun but he could always come thru when the pressure was on---we can all tell our favorite Leftly stories---he made an lasting impression and will be missed.

Sorry to hear about Lefty (via Don Bruni). He was always good for laughs like the time about 6 of us from IGI went to a Dolphins game, Lefty got separated, was spotted several sections away cheering with the best of them, Howard Cobb, formerly Controller at IGI.

Hi Becky,
So very sorry to learn of Lefty's passing... he was a good man. We were Courtyard Inn buddies and softball teammates. I always found him to have a smile on his face and a great outlook on life. We'll miss him.

Becky and family,
I'm sorry to hear about Lefty passing. When I read about it, all I could think about was all the good times with him and you at the Taurus and later to meet again at the American Legion. I didn't realize you all had moved or I would be at his funeral. I loved his funny stories about things that happened to him.
Becky, if you come back to Miami, I would love to get together. Meet me at the Legion.
I'll miss him and hope to see you again.

Crossing the Bar
Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea,
But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out the boundless deep
Turns again home.
Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark;
For tho' from out our bourne of Time and Place
The flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my Pilot face to face
When I have crost the bar.

Bob and I were friends for many years. We used to eat at Bill Miller's Steak House on NW 79th St. He played on my softball team. My daughter, Stephanie, used to live in Brown's Summit and now lives in Greensboro. She will try to get to the service and convey my condolences. Bill Rutan

Becky and family,
Very saddened to hear about Lefty. He was my good friend and mentor. It is hard to believe it was in 1978 that Lefty hired me at International Graphics. It was my first job in the printing business and the several years I spent working for and with him were not only a great learning experience for this country boy from Miami, but was one HELL of a good time! We worked and played together many times since then and he was always a class act and a great friend.
Gail and I offer our condolences.
