SOSNOW, VIOLET (n‚e Brooks) In Montreal, on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, in her ninety-first year. Beloved wife of the late John Sosnow. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Arnold Sosnow and Susan Lifter-Sosnow, Brian and Mimi Sosnow, Clifford Sosnow and Bonnie Baird, and Angela Sosnow and Allen Charney. Cherished grandmother of Shraggi and Dina Sosnow, Shaindy and Yirmi Paritzky, Simi and Hila Sosnow, Raissa and Benji Samet, Laura Sosnow and Vishesh Abeyratne, Emma Charney. Proud great-grandmother of seventeen great-grand-children. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Sandra and the late Louis Biteen, Ben Brooks, the late Josh and the late Dianne Brooks, and the late Ida Brooks;and sister-in-law of the late Eva and the late George Berenholz, the late Yechiel (Chil) and the late Anna Sosnowicz, Tobi and the late Herman Sosnowicz. Violet will be remembered with love by Jessica and Raquel Zeitlin, her nieces, nephews, family and all who knew her. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, Montreal, on Friday, November 30 at 9:30 a.m. Burial in Montreal. Shiva at 6868 Emerson Rd.,C“te Saint-Luc, H4W 1G5. Donations in Violet's memory may be made to the Cancer Care Unit c/o the St. Mary's Hospital Foundation, (514) 734-2694.
