NANCY CAROLYN PERHEALTH
WALLACE, SC - Mrs. Nancy Carolyn Perhealth, 80, died on Saturday, August 13, 2022. Born December 16, 1941, in Marlboro County, SC, she was a daughter of the late George Wallace and Thelma Quick Rainwater.
Carolyn was a member of Whites Creek Freewill Baptist Church in Wallace, and loved the churches that her husband previously pastored, Windsor Park Freewill Baptist Church and Twin Pines Freewill Baptist Church. She loved helping little children, always donating to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. She enjoyed working in her yard and flowers, fishing with her husband, traveling, camping, and dancing. She was always devoted to her family, raising them in church and never working so that she could raise her children. Mrs. Perhealth will be remembered as a kind loving lady, who knew no strangers.
Along with her parents, listed above, Carolyn was preceded in death by her loving husband, Rev. Wayne Perhealth; a son, Kelly Perhealth; brothers, John Rainwater, and Danny Rainwater; a sister, Christine Rainwater; and a son-in-law Carl "Winky" Robertson.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughters, Lynn Hatcher (Greg) of Wallace, SC, Christine Robertson of Wallace, SC, and Valerie Roscoe (Justin) of Wallace, SC; a brother, Richard Rainwater (Ann) of Wallace, SC; a sister, Jeannette Sinclair of Rockingham, NC; 6 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at Whites Creek Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Wallace, SC. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
The family would like to thank a special friend, Margaret Brigman for helping care for Mrs. Perhealth the last few months; and a special thank you to her grandson, Alan Hatcher for all he did for his grandma during her illness.
Kiser Funeral Home has been entrusted to serve the Perhealth family in their time of grief.
