Betty Fay Clark

CLARK, Betty Fay Sims, age 66, of Winchester, departed this life on Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017, at her residence, losing her battle with cancer. Ms. Clark was born in Winchester to the late Warnie Sims and Alma Frances Sanders Sims on March 26, 1951. She was employed for over 40 years at the Winchester Hat Factory. She started in the factory and soon afterwards she was promoted to supervisor. She loved working in her roses and being outdoors. She was known as a wonderful cook. In addition to her parents, Ms. Clark was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Murrell Clark and brother, Ralph Sims. She is survived by her son, Larry Clark and wife Angie of Winchester; grandchildren, Dean Clark, Devan Clark and Mikayla Clark, all of Winchester, sisters, Marie Stephens of Belvidere and Tammy Steele and husband, Johnny of Belvidere and Wilma Nichols (Roger Reed) of Shelbyville; and brothers, Ricky Sims and wife, Sherry of Belvidere and Bobby Sims and wife, Mary Ann of Winchester. Visitation for Ms. Clark will be held on Friday, Oct. 13, 2017, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services in Estill Springs.
