Marcella Lange

1930 - 2017

LANGE, Marcella Milby, was born on Dec. 28, 1930, in Green County, Kentucky to the late William C. Milby and Lily Thompson Milby. She departed this life on Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017, at her home in Decherd, Tennessee, having attained the age of 86 years, 10 months and 20 days. Marcella had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Hodges Chapel United Methodist Church in Green County. She was a retired school teacher. She taught in Green County and Hardin County. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Ivan Milby. She is survived by two daughters and two sons, Mitzi Gray of Decherd, Vicki Robey of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Donald D. Lange Jr. and his wife Elvira of San Diego, California and Michael Lange and his wife Casey of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; two brothers and two sisters, Garland Milby and his wife Marilois of Louisville, Ronny Gene Milby and his wife Vanessa of Campbellsville, Charlotte Stumph of Greensburg and Marie Perkins of Louisville; 10 grandchildren, Jay and Chad Goodman, Donald D. Lange III, Edward A. Lange, Jamie Piparo, Julie, David and Jeffrey Grimes, Savannah and Isabella Lange; 16 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Hall Cemetery in Green County, Kentucky with Rev. Meryl Young officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be: Chad Goodman, Donald Lange III, Edward Lange, Jay Goodman, Steven Goodman and David Grimes.
