Roy Rose Obituary

ROSE, Roy Jack, age 60 of Alto, passed away on Monday, Dec. 26, 2016. He was born in Winchester on July 21, 1956, to the late John Dillion and Anna Geneva Gilliam Rose. Jack was an avid Tennessee Volunteers football fan and loved his dog, Buddy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Dianna Smith, Dolly June Caldwell and Karen Faye Taylor. Jack is survived by his siblings, Cloras (Wayne) Morris of Alto, Zella (George) Lynn of Hillsboro, Vesta (Hershel) Brady of Altamont, Steve (Becky) Rose of Monteagle, Johnny (Kim) Rose of Monteagle, Billy (Marsha) Rose of Decherd and Joe (Linda) Rose of Tullahoma and several nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2016, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home in Winchester. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016, at 1 p.m. in the Moore-Cortner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Morris officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Garner Cemetery in Decherd. Moore-Cortner Funeral Home, 300 1st Ave. N.W., Winchester, TN 37398 in charge of local arrangements, 967-2222. Send on-line condolences to www.moorecortner.com
