Sidney Patrick Smith

SMITH, Sidney Patrick, (Jan. 30, 1964 – Feb. 25, 2017) age 53 of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017, at his residence. Mr. Smith was born in Fayetteville to the late Fred and Dorothy Roberts Smith. He was employed for several years as a master auto body technician. Mr. Smith loved music. He played the guitar in several bands during his lifetime. He is survived by his son, Stone Taber Smith; daughters, Sophie Mae Franklin-Smith and Jenna Ringer, both of Winchester; sister, Freda Smith Wood of Ten Mile; brother Kent Smith of Hazel Green, Alabama; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service is scheduled for Friday, March 3, 2017, at 1 p.m. in the Green Cemetery in Belvidere with a eulogy given by his brother, Kent Smith.
