Tony Lee Kennerly

1965 - 2016

KENNERLY, Tony Lee, age 50, departed this life on Monday, May 30, 2016, at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro. He was born on Nov. 18, 1965, in Winchester to Maudie Kennerly and the late Paul Kennerly. Tony was a devoted employee for Bouldin Lawson where he was a supervisor and Davids Concrete Company. He was a very caring and loving man and anytime you saw Tony he always had a big smile on his face. Tony was preceded in death by his father, Paul Kennerly, great-grandparents, Virgil and Nettie Kennerly and Oscar Ikeard and Paralene Ikeard Ramsey. At the age of 23, Tony became the father of Whitney Dawn Kennerly of Winchester. In addition to his daughter, he leaves behind to cherish his memories grandchildren, Shereen Taylor Bawjjeh and Kieandre Latone Kennerly; mother, Maudie Kennerly of Rock Island; sister, Paula (Will) Keene of South Carolina; brothers, Curtis Kennerly, Steven Kennerly and Timothy (Stephanie) Kennerly, all of McMinnville. In addition to his family, his memory will continue through his uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. This isn't a goodbye, it's a I'll see you later. Visitation for Tony will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2016, from noon to 1 p.m. at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home in Winchester. A celebration of life service for Tony will be conducted on Saturday, June 4, 2016, at 1 p.m. at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with William Keene officiating and Minister Shiro Burnette serving as eulogist. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memory in McMinnville.
