William Stubblefield Obituary

STUBBLEFIELD, William Thomas "Tommy," age 69 of Winchester, passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2017, following a lengthy illness. He was born on Jan. 11, 1948, to the late Clyde R. Stubblefield and Mamie Lee Summers Stubblefield, both of whom preceded him in death. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a retired construction equipment operator. He enjoyed working around his house and spending time with his grandson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Helen Penny; brothers, Donald Stubblefield, Clyde Stubblefield Jr., Gary Stubblefield and James Stubblefield. He is survived by his daughter, Amanda (Clint) Sutherland and grandson, Collin Sutherland, all of Murfreesboro; sisters, Pat (Millard) Bratton, Ruby (Earl) Berryhill and Jean (Leon) Parker, all of Winchester and Cathy (Randy) Cofer of Decherd; brothers, Mike (Rhonda) Stubblefield of Winchester and Ronnie Stubblefield of Decherd; and several nieces and nephews. The family received friends during visitation held on Saturday, June 3, 2017, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Watson-North Funeral Home in Winchester. Services were conducted on Sunday, June 4, 2017, at 2 p.m. from the Roy B. Watson Chapel of Watson-North Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Ray Gardner. Interment followed in the Franklin Memorial Gardens in Winchester with military honors bestowed. Friends and family served as pallbearers.
