Chris Beale Obituary

CHRIS W. BEALE 1947-2023 Chris W. Beale of Sherman, Texas passed from this earth into the arms of his Savior Jesus Christ on February 4, 2023. He was born June 1, 1947 and raised in Sherman, Texas. He was the son of A.J. "Bud" and Frances Beale. Chris was an avid hunter and fisherman and had a membership at Sherman Country Club since he was 18 years old. Chris was a very proud Vietnam Veteran who served in the United States Army for three combat tours in Vietnam. He took over and ran the family floral business, Wayside Florist, for many years until his retirement in 2016. He was preceded in death by his late wife, Kathleen Hudgins Beale and his brother Jimmy Jack Beale. He is survived by his wife Kathy Miles Beale, two sons, Adam Beale, Chad Beale and wife Edy Beale and his beloved dogs, Roxy and Figgy. Family visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 PM on Saturday, February 11th at the family residence, 2513 Shoreline, Sherman, TX 75092. A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial or Grayson County Home Hospice. The register book can be signed online at waldofuneralhome.com.
