Donna Gampper Obituary

DENISON - A rosary for Donna Ruth Gampper will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 23, 2010 at Saint Patrick Catholic Church in Denison with Gary Vogel officiating. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. after the rosary with Fr. Stephen Mocio officiating. Reception will follow Mass at St. Xavier Center.
Donna Gampper was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law and grandmother. She passed away April 17, 2010 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison. All her children, grandchildren and loved ones gathered around her the evening before her death.
Donna was born on Feb. 20, 1932 in Maud, Okla., to the parents of Wallace W. Miller and Mabel Pratt Miller. She was married to Fredrick Gampper on Sept. 8, 1956 in Holy Savior Church in Wichita, Kan. They were married for 53 years and had a wonderful life together. Donna and Fred were owners of Denison Glass and Mirror and are members of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Denison for 40 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Cloyd and Owen Miller; and sister Norma Miller Ghan. She is survived by husband Fred Gampper of Pottsboro and children Joe Gampper and Marijke Lantz of Dallas; Carl Gampper and wife Diana of Pottsboro; Pam Gampper of Dallas; Mark Gampper and wife Jennifer of Frisco; grandchildren, Eric, Adrianne, Lia, Ahnie, Avalon, Brady, and Addison. Special thanks to her nieces and nephews Donna Lynn Miller Tobler, David Miller, Danny and wife Betty Miller.
Memorial donations may be made in her name to St. Patrick Catholic Church, 314 N. Rusk, Denison, TX 75020.
