Ludvik Schovanec Obituary

SHERMAN - On Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013, Ludvik Schovanec, 86, passed away at Clyde Cosper Veteran's Home in Bonham. Joining his wife Ella Schovanec and their daughter Frances Deshezer.

Ludvik was born Aug. 1, 1927 in Kingfisher, Okla. and moved to Sherman, Texas in 1966. Throughout his life, he was a sailor in the Navy from 1943-1945, a World War II veteran and he worked for BNSF Railroad until he retired.

He married Ella Mae McConnel on Aug. 15, 1946 and they had four children. They were married for 61 years when Ella passed on Oct. 13, 2007.

Ludvik is survived by his daughters, Paula Vauter and Judy Gunter; his son, Joe Schovanec; grandchildren, Ella Wilson, Lisa Schovanec and Joeseph Schovanec; great-grandchildren, Ashley Wilson and April Mueller; and great-great-granddaughter, Elliette Kirkpatrick; along with many more grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
