Luz Eneida Rojas

Salisbury-Luz Eneida Rojas, of Salisbury, died on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury. Born in Panama, she was the daughter of the late Francisco and Librada Serrano.

Luz was a longtime member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Odenton, MD and most recently a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Salisbury. She was an active member in the Hispanic community, often helping to translate for those who could not speak English.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Yaris Albright; two brothers, Francisco and Ernesto Serrano and a sister, Hermelinda de Castillero.

Luz is survived by three children, Jesus Rojas and his wife Debra of Severna Park, Wendy Rojas of Salisbury and Derick Rojas and his husband Eric of Aquasco; five grandchildren and two sisters, Josefina Taylor and Amira de Bosquez.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at the Holloway Funeral Home, Salisbury. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, November 14, 2014 at the Maryland National Memorial Park in Laurel, MD.
