Ollie Sebastian Obituary

PILOT POINT - Ollie Maude Sebastian, 91, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010 at Good Samaritan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Denton. Ollie was born on Feb. 11, 1919 in Old Allison, Okla. to Bert and Lois Hale Jackson. She married Wheeler Sebastian on June 1, 1937 in Marietta, Okla.
Visitation will be from 6 -8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2010 at the Huff/Slay Funeral Home in Pilot Point. The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22 at the First Assembly of God Church in Pilot Point with the Rev. Steve Neuman officiating. Burial will follow in the Pilot Point Community Cemetery.
Ms. Sebastian is survived by four sons, Eddie W. and Virginia Ann Sebastian, Eldon R. (Sam) and Jean Sebastian and Wendell and Debbie Sebastian, all of Krum, and Quentin Sebastian of Pilot Point. She is also survived by three daughters, Olva Nell and John McBee of Lindsay, Cadella and Ben Veanueva of Denton, and Ollie and Miles Sheeder of Pilot Point. Ms. Sebastian has 14 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband and two brothers Calvin and Ernest Jackson and one sister Cannie Bell Tutt. She was also preceded by one granddaughter, Carmen Marie Sebastian.
Ms Sebastian was the oldest and longest time member of the First Assembly of God Church in Pilot Point. She was a LVN in the area for over 40 years retiring in 1988. She loved to garden and take care of her chickens and she also loved to cook and sew.
The services are under the direction of Terri Slay and staff of Huff/Slay Funeral Home in Pilot Point.
