Wendy Chilton Obituary
Wendy Ludlam Chilton was born April 25, 1945 in Mineral Springs, Arkansas to Ed W. and Virginia (Jones) Ludlam.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Shelby E. Ludlam, Gary D. Ludlam, Tony R. Ludlam, and son, Timothy E. Martin.
Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Alvin Chilton of Southmayd, Texas; son, James Martin (Reagan) of Dallas, TX; son, Eric (Rick) Martin of Gainesville, TX; daughter, Penny Engle (Kenny) of Fort Smith, AR; stepsons, Camron (Clinette) Chilton of Sulphur Springs, TX; 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren, sister, Tonya K. Thompson of Durant, OK; sister-in-law, Carol Ludlam of West Monroe, LA; and many nieces, and nephews.
She was blessed with a "friend circle" of her high school classmates that loved like sisters-Freda Dobbs (deceased); Dot Ludlam (deceased); Sandi Caster of Sherman, TX; Sandra Jones of Denison, TX and Mary Anderson of Arlington, TX. She was also blessed with an extended family of her mother-in-law, Leila Sawyer of Sherman, TX; and brother-in-law, Calvin (Julie) Chilton of Goodyear, AZ.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Fisher Funeral Home Chapel in Denison, conducted by Joe Lunsford, Pastor of Texas Banner Church of God in Holdenville, OK. Interment will follow at Sadler Cemetery. Family and friends will gather to visit one hour prior to service time Thursday at the funeral home.

A memory... I cant remember if it was Thanksgiving or Christmas, but Granny Wendy made ribs one year, and Eric ain't about 12 and then asked if he could take the rest home. Lol.
