I remember my Grandmother, Gertrude Pryor, talking of her friend and neighbor Bernie Desy. I also remember Bernie and Edgar camping with my grandparents, Gert and Garner Pryor, as well as my family, Paul and Sally Meadows (Mom - Sally was Gert and Garn's daughter). I met Bernie one day when my mom and I walked to her house from Grandma's house. All six of them are camping together again. May God bless and comfort all of you.

I was saddened to learn that Bernie has left us for a better world. I have happy memories on the occasions I met her at my mother's on Camano Island. I thought she was great, always fun and happy, and I know Mom enjoyed talking to her. We all were lucky to know Bernie and I send sincere condolences for your loss. I thought you might enjoy reading Tennyson's poem, "Crossing the Bar." Best wishes, Gary Wegner
