Craig Michael Joinette left us too soon on December 21, 2020, at the age of 52. He was born on December 4, 1968, to Leo and Gayle Joinette in Seattle, WA. Craig graduated from Mariner H.S. with the Class of 1986 and then attended Edmonds CC. He was a very loving and thoughtful son, brother, uncle and friend.
At the age of 14, Craig rode the STP (Seattle to Portland) on his bike with courage and determination and 2 months of hard preparation. He continued to ride until he got his first car, a 1968 Chevy Camaro. After that, only cars held his interest, and he worked in the auto and heavy truck parts industry the rest of his life. In 1997 Craig married Julia Rose. They were together for 7 years, remaining friends thereafter.
Craig had many hobbies and interests: fishing, target practice with his gun collection, assembling electronic kits, music, movies, and especially working on computers. He was our go-to "Computer Guru", vanquishing viruses, installing SSD's and generally keeping our computers safe, fast and our stress levels low!
Craig felt very strongly about giving back in his own way. He met other people on-line who were suffering from Crohn's or Ulcerative Colitis and offered empathy and comfort, giving them hope for a brighter day. He also had 2 computers working 24/7 on cancer/Covid-19 research.
Craig was never without a furry feline or two and enjoyed their curiosity, independent nature and companionship immensely.
Craig is survived by his parents, his brother Marcus (Angie), his nieces Stephanie and Nicole, nephew Alex, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be greatly missed by all.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Craig's memory to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, the Everett Animal Shelter, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center or a charity of your choice.
