Daniel Erickson

1986 - 2025

Dan Erickson, 38, of Marina Del Rey, died suddenly on September 25, 2025. Dan was born in and grew up in Everett, graduating from Everett High in 2005. Dan's future was impacted by many teachers along the way, maybe most notably Mr. Evans and the EHS music program. He also was part of the swim team and was captain his senior year.

After high school, Dan attended California Lutheran in Thousand Oaks. He continued swimming for Cal Lu for the first few years, then shoulder injuries forced him into swimming retirement. He graduated in four years with a major in International Business and a minor in Music, followed by a Masters in Business.

Dan fell in love with Southern California and made his permanent home there. He spent most of his years working for Guitar Center Corporate. He also loved the PNW and would try to visit often. If possible, the visit would involve a trip to our cabin in the San Juans - often including high school, college, and business friends.

Dan was a caring, loving, and (very) entertaining brother, son, cousin and grandson, and will be sorely missed by his parents, Chris and Janet Erickson; his brother Nick; his grandparents, Pat and Tom Erickson. He also leaves behind his aunts and uncles, Craig and Terri Erickson; Kelli and Bill Collins; and Clay and Kami Erickson. He will be missed by his cousins, Taylor, Jordan, Kendall, Levi, Sydney, and Jackson, and numerous very close friends.

He is now celebrating in heaven with his beloved Grandpa John, Grandma Lois, his brother Zach, his Uncle John, and his great- grandparents.
