David Heap Obituary

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of David Robert Heap, of Sultan, Washington, on January 2, 2025, at the age of 61, after an accidental fall at his home.

David was born on July 12, 1963, in Seattle, to Charles Robert Heap and Bernice Elizabeth (Vincze) Heap. A 1981 graduate of Lynnwood High School, David received a Bachelor of Science Degree From Central Washington University in Electrical Engineering in 1990. David was married to Barbara Conrow for 32 years.

David worked at Boeing as an electrical engineer for most of his working career. He had an adventurous heart and lived life to the fullest. David enjoyed living in the country with his wife, llamas, and dogs. He was a certified Master Diver and created truly amazing underwater photography in tropical locations all over the world. He was also a respected expert in the modified side by side quad world where he was published in several enthusiast magazines. Other hobbies included cooking, fishing, camping, flying power kites and drones, ATVing, and driving his Porsches on windy roads or the track. David had a heart of gold, was always quick with a smile, and lived his life with energy, curiosity and enthusiasm.

David is survived by his former wife Barbara Heap; former brother-in-law Seth Conrow (Jena), his sister Diana Boaglio (Jaime) and nephews Riley and Tyler Loback and Chris Conrow. He was preceded in death by his parents Bob and Bernice Heap.

David will be forever remembered by those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.
