Erin Myers Obituary

Erin Lee (Reeve) Myers, 67 of Camano Island, Washington passed away peacefully January 26, 2016. Born November 24, 1948 and raised in Edmonds, Washington, she attended Edmonds High School. Erin was a hairdresser for 20 years in the Arlington area and retired to Camano Island, Washington in 2006. She lived a full, fun life and her special gift was her unconditional love and compassion for all whether she knew them six months or 60 years. She was the fixer in the family. If we had a trouble or shortfall, Erin put 100% into solving our issues and making it right. Erin was the planner in the family. She orchestrated all the birthdays, reunions and holidays before passing the torch to the rest of us reluctantly. Her home was welcome to all with a warm and cozy atmosphere, peaceful and homey. She decorated for every holiday. It was what she enjoyed with all her heart. She is survived by her husband, David Scott Myers of 48 years; her children, Rick Myers and his wife, Lisa Myers, Sherry L. Rose and her husband, Jacob A. Rose; granddaughters, Samantha Erin Myers, Tabetha R. Myers and Ashley L. Powell; grandson, Billy Powell; brother, Brian and wife, Joyce Reeve of Arizona, brother, Kevin Reeve of Lynnwood, Wash. brother, Gary and wife, Debbie Reeve of Camano Island, step-sister, Shirley and husband, Jay Foxe of Arlington, numerous nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Richard and Patricia Reeve, step-mother, Patricia Gehrig Reeve; sister, Ida Marie Reeve; brothers, Jim and Kelly Reeve; father-in-law, Dick Myers, mother-in-law, Eleanor Joyce Rayner and step-father-in-law, Carol Rayner. A celebration of life will be April 9, 2016, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the American Legion, 27001 88th Ave NW, Stanwood, WA 98292. Obituary may be accessed Legacy.com and your well wishes treasured.
