Keenan Fonceca Obituary

Our beloved husband, father, and brother, Keenan Fonceca, went home to be with the Lord on August 21, 2015. His health trials are now over and he is at rest with the Lord Jesus Christ. Keenan was born on January 24, 1947, to Salvador and Frances Fonceca who have preceded him in death. He graduated from Cleveland High School and spent time in The Merchant Marines. He married Mollie Pratt in 1979 in Hawaii. They have one child, Aaron John and a delightful grandson, Gabriel Giliege. He was also instrumental in the lives of Brook and Angela Fonceca, his nephew and niece. He is survived by his wife, Mollie and son, Aaron John; his brother, Ricardo and wife, Kathy; brother, Salvador and wife, Debbie; sister, Yvonne; and half-brother, Robert and wife, Shirley from England. Keenan spent many years in the Promise Keepers movement and was the point man in bringing Promise Keepers to Washington State. His delight was to serve and share the gospel. His specialty was cooking and his enthusiasm was the glue for our whole family. We will all dearly miss him and find comfort that he is truly in a better place. A memorial service will be held at 1pm on September 2, 2015, at New Life Foursquare Church, 6830 Highland Drive, Everett, WA 98203.

My brother and I had many fun misadventures with Keenan. We laughed a lot and held tightly on to our seats whenever he drove us somewhere. We appreciated his warm heart even as young kids.
