Kristi Halvorson

1943 - 2024

Kristi Ellen Halvorson passed away peacefully and was surrounded by close friends and family at her beloved home at Lake Wannacut, Washington after a lengthy battle with Cancer. Words cannot describe the impact she had on the Marysville Community where she lived all her life. She was loving and generous to all she encountered, a graduate of Marysville High School, she went on to be a professional pet groomer and business owner in Marysville for over 40 years. An avid outdoor and animal lover, she was also passionate about her many interests; bird watching, fishing, playing cards with friends and sports of all kinds. She was a proud Norwegian, and active member of Normana Lodge and enjoyed community at Normana Park with longtime lake cabin at Lake Riley. In later years, her greatest love was spending time with her community of friends she considered family at her summer home on the at Lake Wannacut. She is proceeded in death by her Father Alfred Halvorson, Mother, Harriett Halvorson (Boe), Brother, Roland Andrew Halvorson, and his wife Susan Darlene Halvorson (Brashler). She leaves behind two nieces and one nephew Kim Halvorson, Kari Halvorson (O'Connor) and Kurt Halvorson, she had special relationships with her great nephews and nieces, Blaine Halvorson, Bristol Halvorson, Emily O'Connor, Anna O' Connor, Ellison O'Connor, Finnegan O'Connor. She also considered Theresa Halvorson and (husband) Jim Halvorson not just her 2nd cousins but her close family. She will be missed by all. Rest in Peace, Kristi.
