Lisa Catherine Rude-Greve, with family by her side, passed away peacefully May 31, 2023, after a brief but hard fought battle with cancer. Born in Seattle Sept 16, 1964 to loving parents Chuck Rude and Alicia Korkowski, she spent her school years near Martha Lake, attending St. Pius X grade school and in 1982, graduated from Lynwood High School. After moving to Everett in 1986, she gave birth to her daughter, Carissa, who is of course her pride and joy, doting on her every chance she could. Later, Lisa found two things she was also very proud of, her loving husband Randy and her work as an inside sales rep for a veterinary supply company. Here she excelled, advancing her career over her 30 plus years in the industry. As a conversationalist, she enjoyed interacting with her family, friends, coworkers and customers. Lisa loved her family like no one else. Her hobbies were simple pleasures, such as shopping for that special gift just to say how much she loved and cared for you, without having to say it. As a spectator, she cheered for her loved ones, supporting each family members activities be it golf tournaments, ball games, dances, parties, birthdays, auto races or bowling matches. She especially loved lavishly decorating for birthdays, special occasions and holidays.
We all deeply miss her great heart and her enthusiasm for life and helping others. These are the hallmarks of her too short life. She is survived by her beloved husband of 18 years Randy Greve, loving daughter Carissa Saavedra (Carlos) precious grandchildren Cailee Renae (16) and 11 year old twins Danny Oliver and Elly Sophia, father Chuck Rude (Candy), mother Alicia Korkowski, sister Tania Richardson (Brad), brother Chris Rude (Gina) and her two special nephews Thomas Richardson and Raymond Rude, as well has numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Liturgy of the Word will be held Friday, July 14, 2023, 1pm at St John Mission 829 3rd St Mukilteo, WA, 98275. Reception and refreshments to follow.
