Mary Judge Obituary

Mary Therese "T" Sheehan Judge passed away on May 22 at Brookdale Silver Lake at age 92, surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born and raised in Butte, MT by John and Nora Sheehan. She received a nursing degree in 1953 from Carroll College in Helena and worked for several years at the PolyClinic in Seattle. While raising her five children, mostly as a single mom, she returned to nursing, finally retiring from The Fircrest School in 1998.

She adored her children and grandchildren and always loved a good party. She truly enjoyed seafood, Dixieland jazz, and her Irish Catholic heritage.

Mary is survived by her five children, Kevin (Michele), Shauna (Ken), Dan (Sue), Maureen, and Tim (Millie), as well as nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Katherine Moran. She was preceded in death by her brother, Edward, and sister Lynn.

Mary was a lifelong practicing Catholic and a 45-year member of St. Matthew Parish in north Seattle.

A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, June 26 at 11am at St. Matthew Parish Church, 1240 NE 127th St, Seattle, WA. The mass will be followed by a graveside service for the ashes at Holyrood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Catholic Community Services would be most appreciated.

Deepest condolences for the loss of your dear mother, grandmother, great grandmother Mary.
I knew Mary from working at Fircrest. She was a wonderful Nurse, colleague, and friend. A beautiful soul. Always willing to help others. Always willing to tell you the truth; tell it as she saw it. And she had a spry sense of humor with a twinkle in her eye.
Dear Mary, may you rest in peace.
