Paul R Hegre passed away on September 6th, 2020. I used to call my dad twice a day, I miss being able to do that, I especially find myself looking at the clock each evening, waiting for 7pm which was my time to call dad - we all miss him dearly. Dad passed away peacefully in his sleep, he was truly lucky to have been so lovingly taken care of by his neighbors who looked after him - we will be forever grateful for their love & care. He was a father to me, Brian & my sister Lynn, a grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to many. Paul was a Veteran with the Coast Guard and served during the Korean War. Dad & I traveled to Washington DC along with many other Veterans a couple of years ago with the Honor Flight to see the various war memorials - it was an emotional trip for him but was also very healing. He was a Teamster for most of his life and loved his retirement, he was active with the Lynnwood Elks Club and enjoyed playing golf. Dad was also a wonderful husband for wife, Joanne but never really got over her death or years earlier his daughter Kim's death. We all miss our dad, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend - we will now need to rely on our memories of laughter, tears and most of all our love for him - goodnight dad.

I worked with Paul for over 15 years at Vitamilk dairy. Paul was a very hard worker and always a lot of fun to be around. Best wishes to his family.
