Mom (Glada), Tim, Dave, Jennifer, Georgia and I would like to express our thanks to the communities who have supported and shared their comforting thoughts during this time. Your love and concern have transformed the funeral into a celebration of Dad's life.
(Cathy, no offense was ever taken. We wish you and Jim a wonderful life, too, and sorry again for the "G" on the wallet :-)

Dear Mike & All Your Family,
I was so sorry to see that your dad passed away. He was a friend of my dad's (Ike Hanks) and I remember talking to him on the phone shortly before my dad died in 1973. Your dad called to ask how my dad was doing and I talked to him. It was thoughtful of him to call.
Mike, I still have the beautiful wallet you made me in junior high school (and rode on your bicycle all the way over to my house to deliver.) I apologize if I hurt your feelings during that time period, I was immature. I hope you are having a good life. I married Jim Losvar from our senior class and we have two grown girls, no marriages or grandchildren yet. I hope you are having a great life and our family sends our caring thoughts to you and your loved ones.

I remember Ray as a fine High School friend. Ray and I were the top spellers in Lit. class during our Junior year. Ray's team usually had the most ice cream bars to eat. I will miss him at our class reunions.

Glada and Family,
Ray was a great caring man. My Dad was just going to come over and see him soon. He is down with a broken rib at the moment so is not able to make it to the service but I know his thoughts are with you. I remember going to the house in Murphy's corner as a kid and was always in ah of his amazing toys in the garage. I really admired Ray and his family. Ray was one of those people in your life that you never forget that are true role models that really inspire you. I had a nice visit with Ray a few years back at my Grandma Buxton's funeral. He always had a way to make people smile no matter what the situation is. He will be greatly missed. From the entire Rowalt family – our thoughts and prayers are with you. (Doug Rowalt’s daughter)

Glada, Mike, Tim, and David,
I am so sorry for your loss, and ours. I will never forget how much a part of my growing up was infuenced by Ray and your family.
The example you set on how a family can and should be will forever be in my heart. God bless you all for involving me in the Church, school, your family, and your lives. I am eternally grateful for yours and Rays' guidance.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss. Ray was quite a character, I have nothing but pleasant memories of listening to him "hold court".

Ray stopped by the farm several years ago to ask about some animal by-products to make his garden grow; I was only too happy to load a bunch onto his little red dump truck. Since that first time, Ray has stopped numerous times just to visit, and every year has gotten a load or two of fertilizer. We became quite good friends and I will miss his springtime visits. I know that there is little I can do to fill the void for his family that his passing has brought. My thoughts and well wishes go out to them.

Glada,
I will miss Ray as he would come in the bank and we would sit and visit about our common interests. We would talk about our toys and our challenges in fixing and restoring. He enjoyed his Willies, Harley, Boat, Crabbing, Fishing, Oh he just enjoyed life.... I will miss Ray dropping by to visit, but am better for having known him.

Glada and Family,
I am so srory for your loss. Ray was a super man. He had a big gruff teddy bear appeal. He could always get a smile maybe even 2 . Even if you didn't want to release one. I have many fond memories of Ray. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you .
