Freddie, you are gone too soon! Even though I saw you many times in Seattle, one last time would've been great! Alas we get so busy in our lives that even phone calls or messages don't happen often enough. You have taken all those great stories with you, and I wished we had another chat as i needed to ask you again to tell the one about...
Our time at OSR in Rome was very valuable, and you knew it was. So glad we got to share it!
I'll come to the memorial from Vancouver, Canada. Ciao amico.

Here's how I remember Freddie at OSR highschool- dapper in pressed pants and a velvet jacket.

Freddie was so attractive and hilariously funny. His energy tore through our house in Rome leaving pieces of memories attached to our lives. Goodbye Freddie. My thoughts are with you Samir and Lucy.

My sincere condolences, to Lucy, Samir and family.
We were at school in Rome together in 1973 and both lived in Casal Palocco. Reunited thru internet many years ago and stayed in touch.
I will miss our chats....

Im really sorry you had leave us like this. I had honestly wanted to meet you again, a few opportunities came, but, were missed. I can identify with the recluse they say you were Freddie, I know this in myself. But I do, and I think you too thought warmly of many people in your heart, this I did for you and I feel you did of me. Thanks Fred for this time, I guess ill see you on the other side, have a great trip, with love Chris Hedberg

For Lucy and Samir, I send my love on the sudden loss of your brother. I fondly remember our days in Rome, Casalpalocco, and at OSR together: my brother Cris hanging around with Freddie (as he was known then), and I befriending Lucy. Those were the best days of our youth.
