I remember the summer Rick worked as a counselor at Warm Beach Camp. Rick was one of the best counselors, full of faith, life and fun. He was loved by all. After many years I had the awesome privilege of running into Rick in Dec, 2020, at Judd and Black where he was working. What a blessing to recall camp.memories with Rick.

Sorry Spesock family. Rick will be greatly missed. I loved his sense of humor, and smile. Love you brother. It seems that times are ticking fast these days. I’m sure it won’t be long until we see you again.

I remember jumping on the trampoline and Rickey's laughter...his long black hair (this was probably in the 70's) and quick wit. His smile. All my memories of him are of him smiling. He's smiling now - Kenton

I moved from the North West in the early 90's and was sad to hear of Ricks passing today. I met Rick during Sunday School at church when I was around 10 or 11 years old. I broke my second collar bone crashing my bike into Rick's bike as kids. I remember hiding with Rick on the roof of his dad's auto shop after we threw a bunch of old spray paint cans on a fire his dad had burning behind the shop. How were we suppose to know that paint cans thrown in a fire would blow up. We shared some good times together growing up. Good bye my friend, you will be missed, but not forgotten. Bruce

His presence will always be missed. You raised a great son, Garry and Margie! He let the light of Jesus shine brightly through him. We know we will see him again, but parting is oh, so great a sweet sorrow.

Rickey was a kind and friendly man who had great love for his entire family. Though I didn't know him very well the conversations I had with him showed me he was proud of his faith in Jesus and encourage conversations that honored that. Rickey will be missed. He was a blessing and he was blessed to have all of you in his life!

You will be missed my friend. I always admired Rickey in how he loved his faith and would sit in the front row at church and sing away and Praise the Lord. He was very humorous also, always bringing a smile to my face. He also was an excellent cook. Very kind man that I will always remember, just like his brother Mike, Many prayers for the family.

Too young to be called home to Jesus. We will miss you, but look forward to being with you again.
A memory from the 50th anniversary of Garry and Marjorie ... Rick as "Marjorie" in a wonderfully humorous skit honoring his parents.

Rickey was a wonderful man who passionately loved Jesus Christ. I have many memories growing up of Rickey visiting our church and he was always such an encouragement to my sisters and I about our music. He was always joyful. Something that can only truly come from a life that has been redeemed and secured in Christ. He was a treasure. I can’t wait to see him again soon in Heaven!

While I didn't know Rickey well, what I did know - he was VERY whitty and had a dry sense of humor that kept us laughing the few times we were together with the family. I knew also, that he loved JESUS and worked tirelessly to share the gospel with his coworkers and friends to help bring them to a saving knowledge of JESUS CHRIST! He's face to face with JESUS now - PRAISE GOD! Vina and Dave

It was our honor to have known Rick. His amazing faith, his gentle kindness, his love of his family were mixed with such humor and dry wit. I think of his smiling eyes and know how much he will be missed by all were fortunate to have him in their lives.
