Rita (Nowak) Baker, 93 years old, passed away on December 18th, 2024 at Providence Hospital in Everett, WA.
Rita was born in Erie, PA on April 8, 1931. The daughter of Stanley and Marian Nowak. Rita graduated from St. Benedict Academy of Erie in 1948. She married Daniel H. Baker, of Erie, PA on June 22nd 1951.
Rita was preceded in death by her husband in 2019, her mother and father and brother Carl Nowak, all of Erie, PA. She is survived by her daughters Pam Lange (Leonard) of Ft. Wayne, IN and Dana Smith of Everett, WA. Rita is survived by 3 grandchildren Daniel Smith of Everett, WA, Steven Lange and Sarah Lange of Ft.Wayne, IN. Rita also had 7 great grandchildren.
Rita was known for her love of cooking, boating and travel. She was was an active member at St. Mary Magdalen Parish of Everett, WA. A memorial service will be held at St. Mary Magdalen Parish and announced at a later time.
