Russell Ore Obituary

In Remembrance Russell Ore Russell Ore, 90, passed away peacefully at home in Ellensburg, WA, on May 20, 2017. He was born June 22, 1926, in Pony, MT, to Lucy and Hector Hore. He shared a wonderful childhood with his late siblings, Catherine Gerard, Louie and Don Nokes. He married his beloved late wife, Doreen June Barnes, in 1951. They shared a loving and beautiful life together with four children. They were married for 54 years before she passed away in 2005. Russ is survived by his children, Cary Ore (Joanne), Vern Ore (late wife, Janine), Lanny Ore (Pat Cahill) and Leeanne Wilburn (Glenn). He was blessed with seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren with one on the way. Russ joined the US Army in 1944. He served our country for two years leaving with an Honorable Discharge. He led a long career as a truck driver before retiring from Woodinville Lumber in 1988. Russ had a passion for horses and camping but his true love in life was family. Services will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2017, at 3 p.m. The service will be held at the Woodinville Methodist Church, 17110 140th Ave NE with a reception to follow.

To the entire Ore extended family, we are so sorry for your loss. Russell was a sweet man and a "Dad" to so many. We will never forget the twinkle in his eye and his friendliness, very down to earth gentlemen. We loved him and send our love to you all.
