Sue was the best neighbor. Always kind, helpful and easy to get along with. Ray was the same. I worked for her for awhile while she was a Senator and she was wonderful. I will never forget her/them.

I am so sorry to hear about Sue. She was a wonderful woman. I will always remember when we moved in the day before Thanksgiving, Sue brought over a complete Thanksgiving dinner for us including pumpkin pie. I just got back from being out of town so unable to attend the memorial. I would have loved to see you all. My thoughts and prayers are with you and pray God will comfort you at this hard time. Much love to you all.

Dear Gould Family,
The League of Women Voters of Snohomish County fondly remembers Sue's years of service. Not only did she shine in leadership within the League, but she filled multiple roles of responsibility within our community and beyond. Her light still blazes through her family and her work! Thank you for sharing her with all of us.

Dear Gould Family,
Such a terrible loss for you and for the many. many others who were touched by Sue's love.
And so many memories we share. From meeting at MYF and the Sand Point Church, on to college and times together not only here but in Spain and other parts. How lucky we were to share in your lives. How lucky I was to have Sue's mentoring that led to community college trusteeship and mediation.
My heartfelt wishes go out to all of you for the peace and love you will find in memories of a great lady.

Dear Ray,
My deepest condolences on your loss of Sue. It was always such a pleasure having a meal with you while y'all were still here at the Chateau At Bothell Landing. Her witty comments and the "look" she could give us when she didn't agree with what was said or the direction of the conversation was a thing to behold. You and all your family are in my thoughts and prayers during this most difficult of times. May God bless y'all and hold all y'all in His loving arms.

Mr. Ray and Mrs. Sue Gould raised a fantastic family with Kevin, Meredith, LeAnn, and their pet dogs. For over thirty consistent years the Goulds' were awesome safe friendly neighbors living two houses nearby from Mr. and Mrs. E. Dale "Kathy" Parker, whom are my parents. Mrs. Sue Gould was a very kind intelligent motivated great home neighbor. Mrs. Sue Gould contributed outstanding respectful work in the Snohomish County and for the State of Washington in government. My parents, my two sisters and I truly enjoyed Sue's friendships and will miss her genuine character towards life and humor with fishing trips. In sincerity, Melissa K. Parker daughter and E. Dale and "Kathy" Parker, Jennifer and "Beth". My parents were both employed over thirty years in the Edmonds Public School District #15.Seattle Public School District, and the Edmonds neighborhood and in the 1960's throughout twenty years was sometimes called "Teacher's Hill", as other public school educators lived in the neighborhood where the Ray and Sue Goulds' family lived next door to the E. Dale Kathy Parker family. For over thirty years, my Dad was a Seattle Public School District Public Lincoln High School Guidance Counselor/Edmonds Public High School #15 Edmonds High School/Woodway High School Public High School Guidance Counselor and University of Washington athletics coach and Seattle Pacific University/College athletics coach/professor, and thirty consistent years Okanagon Major League Baseball Camp Director. And, for over twenty five years, in the Edmonds Public School District #15 at Edmonds High School and Woodway High School, my Mom successfully taught home economics and associated student body leadership advising. I am very thankful for my parents lives and the legacy involved successfully in their occupations and lives in the community and world. My parents, my two sisters, and myself enjoyed being next door neighbors to the Ray Sue Gould family. Truly, there was always laughter and sincere words and open communication between the Ray Sue Gould family and E. Dale "Kathy" Parker family (Jennifer, "Beth" Laura Elizabeth, and Melissa)!!! Sue Gould will be deeply missed. Blessings of the best always in life to the entire Gould family.
