Amber Enix Obituary
CHESTER - Mrs. Amber Yvonne Courtney Enix, 32, died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, at her residence.
A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at Barron Funeral Home, with the Rev. Melvin Pressley officiating. The family will receive friends and family 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Barron Funeral Home.
Born Jan. 28, 1981, in Bogalusa, La., Amber was the daughter of Tracy Aaron Courtney and Patricia Ann Foster Courtney of Bogalusa, La. She was a graduate of York Comprehensive High School Class of 1999 and attended Winthrop University. She was employed with Champion Laboratories in York, S.C., and she enjoyed singing and seasonal decorating.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of eight years, Jeffery S. Enix; two sisters, Honor Mease and her husband, Thomas of Savannah, Ga., and Genia Murray of Chauvin, La.; one nephew, Elijah Murray of Chauvin, La.; maternal grandmother, Yvonne Foster of Bogalusa, La.; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and her dog, Bashful.

Amber will be missed, especially for her individual style.
I always complimented her hair, fragrance. She told me it was Cucumber Melon from Bath & Body Works.
When I asked her about the pretty lipstick, she said, “Oh, Miss Mary, I just mixed up three lipsticks and got this.”
If I knew the lipsticks, I would blend them together and when asked which lipsticks I was wearing, I would say, “Amber — Uniquely Amber.”
