Rock Hill, South Carolina - Robert "Bob" P. Jones, 64, formally of Buffalo, New York passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022 at Piedmont Medical Center.
Bob was born on February 27, 1957 in Buffalo, NY to Antoinette Marie Morana Jones and the late Joseph James Jones. After working 32 years at Quebecor World, in 2018, Bob retired and moved to Rock Hill, SC. Bob took joy in riding his Harley, wood working, being outdoors and spending time with his grandchildren.
Bob is survived by his wife of 21 years, Theresa Lynne Jones; his mother, Antoinette of Rock Hill; his children, Melissa of Buffalo, NY, Robert (Melanie) of Buffalo, NY, Scott (Eva)Dietrich of Merritt Island, FL, Michele Dietrich of Williamsville, NY, and Cheryl (Michael) Schear of Charlotte, NC; his sister, Denise Link; his eight grandchildren, Hayden, Alexis, Amelia, Bryson, Nolan, Hannah, Naveah and Blaze, who will miss their Poppy greatly.
A celebration of Bob's life is being planned for family and friends in Buffalo, NY, this summer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Atrium Health Levine Cancer Institute, 10650 Park Rd. #420, Charlotte, NC 28210 or on-line at atriumhealthfoundation.org.
