Carolyn Key Obituary
LANCASTER - Mrs. Carolyn Blair Key, 60, of 4638 Bon Rea Drive, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2012, at Springs Memorial Hospital in Lancaster, S.C.
Services for Mrs. Key will be 12 noon, Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, S.C., with the Rev. Danny Burgess officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Park-Cherry Road.
Mrs. Key was a native of Cherokee County, S.C., and the daughter of the late Roy and Thelma Mullinax Blair. She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Key was preceded in death by her husband, John Edward Key and a brother, Roy Blair.
Mrs. Key is survived by her two sons, John Key and Jeff Key, both of Rock Hill; her daughter, Tammy Spaulding and husband, Hayden, of Lancaster; her brothers, Ed Blair of White Pine, Tenn., and David Blair of Rock Hill; her sisters, Peggy Walters, Lynn Almony, Shirley Eddington and Virginia Eddington, all of Rock Hill; and her grandchildren, Jonathan Key, Tylor Spaulding, Hannah Spaulding, Katelynn Key, Kyle Key, Carlie Key and Ebony Key.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of service Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Rd., Rock Hill, SC 29732, and other times at the home of Crystal Stauffer, 286 Southside Road, Rock Hill.

Carolyn was a very sweet and strong woman. She made sure that if someone needed her, she was always there to help. I remember living with Carolyn a few years ago. Carolyn, You've gone home to be with Jesus, but you will always be with us in our hearts. You gave us so many wonderful memories. I'll always remember the fun times we had together. We were always together when our kids were little. Trips to the grocery store, cooking as a family, and just hanging out together all the time. We were always there for each other through the bad times as well as the good. These are memories I'll always keep in my heart. You will be missed, but never forgotten, and one day we'll meet again. RIP Carolyn, We love you!!!
