Charles Ferguson Obituary
CHARLOTTE - Charles G. "Skip" Ferguson Jr., 74 of 3352 Kingshire Way, Lake Wylie, S.C., died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, N.C.
Funeral service will be 5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010, at M.L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, 4820 Charlotte Hwy, Lake Wylie, S.C. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010, at M.L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, Lake Wylie.
Mr. Ferguson was born Aug. 12, 1936, to the late Charles G. and Catherine McClain Ferguson.
Survivors are his wife, Viola S. Ferguson; son, Michael J. Ferguson and wife, Arleen, of Essington, Pa.; daughter, Lisa Ann Graner and husband, Thomas, of Clover, S.C.; sisters, Catherine Graden of Windor, Ga., and Patricia Cox of Marcus Hook, Pa.; brothers, Frances Ferguson of Baton Rouge, La., and Elmer Ferguson of Marcus Hook, Pa.; four grandsons, Michael Jr., Paul, TJ and Max.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the River Hills/Lake Wylie EMS, Heritage Drive, Lake Wylie, SC 29710.
M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, Clover, is serving the family of Mr. Ferguson.

Dear Vi, I am so sorry to hear that Skip passed away. Both of you are very special people to me and will ALWAYS TREASURE you both. Having you both as my godparents and living next door to my grandparents for all those years in Mantua, NJ......my memories will always be there. Seeing Skip on the front step or patio....always wanting us to come over to visit or go in the pool. I miss you both. My prayers and love are with you, Michael, Lisa and the family. There is a sunbeam missing from Mill Creek Falls on the corner where you lived, there is an ever present smile and a hand always raised in "Hello, How are you?" that we don't know how we are going to do without. We do know that you corner, your landmark will be in our hearts, as you are forever. Our loss is heaven's gain. It goes without saying that you will tell everyone hello.
