York, South Carolina - Emily Ward Shively, 78, of York, SC passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Agape House of Lexington in Lexington, SC.
A graveside service will be held at 3:30 PM on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Lakeview Memory Gardens in York, SC. The family will receive friends at the cemetery immediately following the service.
Emily was born on April 11, 1944 in Reidsville, NC. She was the daughter of the late John Franklin Ward and Alice Martin Ward and was the widow of Larry Keith Shively. She is survived by her daughter, Anne Marie Shively, sons, Benjamin "Jay" Shively and his wife, Loretta, and Martin Shively. Emily is also survived by her eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Emily was preceded in death by her son, Russell Shively and her brother, Frankie Ward.
In memory of Emily Shively, memorials may be made to Agape House of Lexington, 128 Library Hill Ln Lexington, SC 29072.
